Medical Laboratory Technologist ( Part I or II )

The Job:

Perform all aspects of clinical laboratory testing (including bench work, reporting and monitoring of quality processes) at a high level of quality. Positions available for biochemistry, immunology, haematology and microbiology disciplines.

Duties: 

• Operate analytical equipment and instruments according to established SOPs.
• Perform on-going quality control checks to ensure test results are precise and accurate.
• Ensure all laboratory procedures are carried out according to standard regulations and accreditation guidelines.
• Assist to receive and process specimens.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High diploma, HTC, BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• A team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a medical laboratory setting preferred
• Experience working in a CAP/ISO 15189 lab would be an advantage. Familiar with HOKLAS.
• Part I/II registration with the HKMLT Board
