Officer - Exhibition and Tour Services (Part-time)

The applicant must possess:

  1. recognised diploma / higher certificate, holding a relevant degree in Environmental Science/ Education/ Engineering will be an advantage;
  2. excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  3. out-going and good at interacting with public visitors, and willing to learn from cutting edge technology, products and sustainability solutions;
  4. excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  5. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.) and Chinese word processing; and
  6. fresh graduates and current students in the tertiary education sector are welcome to apply.

Duties include:

  1. to assist in the development and implementation of sustainability plan and programs in STEAM workshop at CIC-Zero Carbon Park (CIC-ZCP);
  2. to act as a tour guide assistant and introduce the latest exhibition;
  3. to be proactive in interacting with visitors and assist visitors to play with the exhibits and games made available at the exhibition;
  4. to assist in conduct sustainability assessments and audits of CIC-ZCP facilities to identify areas for improvement;
  5. to monitor event’s energy performance and provide sustainability suggestion and certificate to event organisers;
  6. to assist in organising sustainability event for public participant;
  7. to assist in research cutting edge sustainability technology and implement in CIC-ZCP;
  8. to support other sustainability related works such as administrative tasks, special visits, event etc.; and
  9. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
