Financial Controller - HK Family Office

You will lead the finance and accounting function to manage business portfolio of 1 billion HKD of family business.

Client Details

Our Client is a Hong Kong based family office with diversified investment in financial market, overseas real estate and retail.

Description

Reporting to Chairman, you are responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies and plans that align with the family office's goals and objectives. This involves analysing financial data, assessing investment opportunities, and providing recommendations to optimize the family's financial position.

You will lead a small team to oversee financial reporting and cash flow management, prepare budgeting and financial forecasts for the investment portfolio. You are also responsible for leading audit, tax filing and process improvement.

Lastly, you act as key person to assess and manage financial risks associated with the family office's activities, duties include but not limited to identifying potential risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Profile

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent with above 15 years of experience, preferably with experience in Big 4, private company or family office
• Proficient knowledge in financial market with solid experience in daily accounting operation
• Strong commercial sense with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
