Executive Officer

Executive Officer in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 526294) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a recognised degree with at least 3 years’ administrative experience or equivalent, preferably in tertiary institutions.  They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in IT; good organisational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team, and handle multi-tasks under pressure with attention to details. 

The appointee will provide administrative support to programmes and consultancy/research projects commissioned by external agencies (e.g. Education Bureau, schools, and professional organisations).  He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the office, including finance and human resources matters, publicity and event management, application and enrolment, delivery and evaluation, answering enquiries from the public, developing and managing the website, providing secretarial support to committees, and performing other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
