Finance Analyst (Project based) - Top UK Bank!

Our client is one of top UK banks mainly focusing in wealth banking management services. They are currently looking for a Finance Analyst (Project based) to be responsible for Finance system (Fermat) demise projects, communicate with different stalk holders, UAT of the Fermat demise from data consumer perspective. The successful candidate should have relevant of working experience in Finance system data analysis field within banking or FI industry.

It mainly focuses on compliance services, wealth management services and other commercial banking business. The department is currently looking for a Finance Analyst (Project based) to handle change and implementation activities in Finance system (Fermat) demise projects, data analysis, and communicating with relevant stalk holders.

Description

• Engage with relevant stakeholders (including finance, risk IT, and downstream use case owners) to communicate changes related to the migration from FERMAT and the replacement of existing MIF. This includes addressing regional risk system RPM, RDM, and other aspects impacting regulatory reporting processes
• Perform regression testing and data reconciliation for the regional risk use cases in HBAP, ensuring a smooth transition of data source from MIF to SDI. Identify any data issues and assess their impact on different use cases such as Basel, B3R change, IFRS9, and Stress Testing. Propose remediation actions and build change requirements if necessary
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all ASP Retail Risk business communications, policy updates, and process changes
• Take responsibility for managing and supporting changes in policies, guidelines, (SOX) process controls, and communication related to Basel (including B3R), IFRS9, and stress testing. Define the end-to-end TOM (Target Operating Model) and provide support throughout the parallel run until the B3R GO-Live in January 2025

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree holder of Business/ Communication or relevant disciplines
• Candidate with relevant of working experience in Finance data system project, data analysis experience
• Strong writing, sense of responsibility and good problem- solving skills
• Strong customer-focus and open-minded attitude
• Excellent writing skills in Chinese and good command in English and Cantonese
• Proficiency in MS office skills
