Our client is a well established financial services company with approximately 1000 employees in Hong Kong. An opportunity has arisen for a Talent Management & Talent Development Manager/Assistant Manager to join their office in Hong Kong.
Description
Reporting to the Head of L&TD, you will work closely with the team in HK and the HR team at the headquarters to drive the Talent Management & Talent Development strategies for the Hong Kong business. The organization is striving to transform their HR strategies, and aim to strengthen their talent strategies across the use of assessment tools, setting up competency models for recruitment, performance management, hi-po selection, talent development programs for all levels...etc. You will work with the Learning team to discuss on orientation, onboarding, management capability, leadership and coaching programs, and potentially invite senior leaders or external subject experts to drive training, seminars and other focus groups. This is an exciting transformation phase, and we are looking for candidates with an open mind , hands on working style , an outgoing personality with the ability to bring talent strategies to solid programs.
Profile
The right candidate will be degree qualified with a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in talent development preferably working for a sizable financial services organization in Hong Kong. You will have experience designing, developing and implementing programs from scratch. The team is rather new at this point, therefore those with experience helping companies to set up , revamp or transform the Talent Development function will be highly sought after. We are looking for candidates with great communication skills with the ability to speak with senior stakeholders to fully understand their needs, and gain their trust and buy in at the same time.
