Senior Paralegal/Legal Manager - Derivatives

We are working with a global securities firm who are looking to hire an experienced legal professional to join their expanding team.

Client Details

Our client is part of a large financial group with a growing international presence. This is a great chance for someone looking to become an integral part of the legal team in assisting with the growth and development of the function.

Description

This role will report to the Head of Legal and work closely alongside them to assist in providing legal support to all business units. The role will have a large focus on derivatives documentation, but in addition, you will also be required to draft and review various commercial contracts and agreements. You will also be responsible for keeping up-to-date on regulatory developments, as well as handling corporate governance.

Profile

This role requires the candidate to have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. Whilst relevant experience in law firms will be considered, it is preferred that the candidate already has in-house experience working in financial institutions. Some exposure with handling derivatives documentation is essential. Fluency in English and Chinese is required. This role is suited to someone who demonstrates passion in their field, can use their initiative and is a team player.
