Description

Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Identify growth opportunities, market gaps, and potential new product categories.
  • Develop business strategies and plans to achieve market leadership, revenue growth, and profitability.


Business Planning and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to develop annual business plans and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare sales and revenue projections, expense budgets, and profit margin analysis.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.


Product Portfolio Management:

  • Analyze the performance of existing product lines and make recommendations for optimization, expansion, or discontinuation of products.
  • Collaborate with product management teams to develop product roadmaps, pricing strategies, and product lifecycle management plans.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, or licensing agreements to enhance the product portfolio.


Competitive Analysis and Pricing Strategy:

  • Monitor and analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and value propositions.
  • Develop pricing strategies and recommend competitive pricing for the product portfolio.
  • Conduct regular price and margin analysis to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.


Business Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement performance tracking systems and dashboards to monitor progress against business objectives.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate business performance, market insights, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on data analysis and market intelligence.

 

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Previous experience in business planning, strategy, or related roles within the consumer products industry.
  • Strong understanding of the consumer electronics market, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic mindset and ability to think critically and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present business strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies, data analysis tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions.
