The Graduate School of Hong Kong Baptist University is committed to fostering a vibrant research community by empowering aspiring student researchers to achieve their academic goals. We are a highly motivated team and are now looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated team player to join us as an Administrative Assistant. You will contribute to the success of our research postgraduate programmes by providing programme administrative support and ensuring smooth operation of the office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to research postgraduate programmes and office management;
  • Manage student data, filing and other system records, and compile statistical reports;
  • Provide logistics and clerical support to committees and events; 
  • Handle email/telephone/walk-in enquiries and provide counter services when required; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary education or specialised vocational training;
  • A minimum of at least two years relevant work experience;
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • Good computer application skills; and
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of 2 years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
