Purchasing Manager (40K-50K) - electronic manufacturing service (station China)

The Company :
  • Electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider
  • Our customer base is continually growing and spans a wide geographical region including North America, Europe and the Asia pacific region.
  • Factory : China Guangdong (3000-4000)
  • We are looking for Purchasing Manager  - with details as follows :

The Job :
  • Tertiary education
  • 10+ years purchasing experience, of which preferably over 2-3 years managerial level in electronics manufacturing industry, preferable in EMS environment;
  • Extensive working experiences in material sourcing are required;
  • Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical components with good vendor base;
  • To lead and drive lead time & cost improvement to reduce total operational cost;
  • Communicate with counterpart across business units and corporate purchasing to identify cost reduction opportunities for material and components;
  • Evaluate and monitor suppliers performance to ensure quality, safety standards and schedules are meet; and
  • Proficient in English, Chinese & Mandarin
  • Station Guangdong factory
  • 5 days work
