Client Details

Our client is one of the largest and oldest private banks and financial services firms from the US and they are now opening an exciting role for a Trade Operation/ Settlement Officer to handle trade support, trade settlement, reconciliation for FX trading and Securities Lending for the Asia market. They have been serving the worlds' most sophisticated mutual funds, investment managers, banks and insurance companies since 1818 with 17 offices around the world. The Asia markets team provides global support for FX Trading and Securities Lending activities and performs support functions across disciplines with emphasis placed on supporting Asia markets.

Description

  • Responsible for trade support, settlement, trade entry, reconciliation, confirmation and communication with counterparties for FX operation and Securities Lending trade support activities
  • Act as a liaison for the Asia market sub-custodians in the timely execution of deals in those markets
  • Ensure accurate processing of transactions on relevant products and ensure daily output standards are met both quality and timelines
  • Identify and escalate workflow issues, ensure adherence to all established policies, procedures and controls
  • Provide client services and provide prompt respond to internal and external inquiries or requests via emails and phone calls
  • Communicate effectively to resolve issues in order to minimise risk and exposure and to act as a risk control agent within the market services arena


Profile

  • Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration, Management or relevant discipline
  • 2+ years of working experience in trade support/ settlement/ reconciliation or capital market support within FS industry
  • Strong product knowledge in FX or securities lending
  • Highly attentive to details, strong analytical skills and able to work under pressure
  • Strong English and Chinese communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work independently as well as a great team player
  • Proficient in MS office (word, excel)
