Marketing Director, Regional - Luxury retail

Client Details

Our client is an internationally recognized retail company with over 200 stores across China. The company offers a wide range of products, including luxury goods, cosmetics, fashion apparel, accessories, wine and more. They are now looking for a Marketing Director to monitor the effectiveness and ROI of marketing activities and drive retail sales.

Description

  • Conduct market analysis and assess the competitive landscape, offering valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the company's decision-making processes.
  • Formulate and implement the company's marketing strategy, overseeing the management and decision-making of the marketing department to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Lead and supervise the marketing team, providing guidance, support, and necessary resources to ensure their efficient functioning.
  • Manage the budget and control the resources of the marketing department, appropriately allocating them and ensuring the smooth execution of marketing activities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and consumer demands, delivering market intelligence and strategic guidance to facilitate marketing decisions.
  • Oversee brand image and public relations, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with media and other stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute large-scale marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives, guaranteeing their effectiveness and successful attainment of campaign objectives.
  • Monitor the performance and ROI of marketing activities, regularly reporting the achievements and outcomes of the marketing department to senior management.
  • Foster close collaboration with other departments, coordinating the efforts of the marketing department with those of other teams to promote synergy and cooperation.
  • Seek and establish partnerships with third-party entities, engaging in cooperative projects to expand market channels and resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, making timely adjustments to marketing strategies and plans to adapt to changing market conditions and competitive environments.


Profile

The successful candidate should be a degree holder or above in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines. You should have over 10 years of relevant experience in market promotion, digital marketing, brand partnerships and retail marketing in the retail industry or related fields, including 5 years of management experience.

With work experience in mainland China is a must.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

Proficient in English and Chinese communication (including Mandarin)
