Our client is a beauty & cosmetics company with Retail and Trading business in Hong Kong and China, they have a pretty established team with excellent development opportunity for individuals. They are currently looking for a positive, passionate and experienced HR professional from similar industry to be their HR Head for driving HR strategies, change management, business partnering and Organizational Development initiatives.

Description

  • Reporting to the MD, CEO and Chairman, you will lead a team of 20 across TA, HRBP, C&B, HR Operations and L&D functions in Hong Kong and China
  • Provide people strategies and advices, future people planning and vision, through strong people data insights, understanding of business goals & objectives, and partnership with business leaders
  • Gain thorough understanding of the overall business direction and performance, and provide your expert advice on strengthening the organization structure, workplace culture, digitization & analytics, and succession planning to bullet proof the long term sustainability of the business.
  • Initiate and drive people development strategy for nurturing of talents, employee engagement, developing a strong leadership team in support of company strategy and priorities
  • Be the strategic partner for senior management to challenge the BAU, revamp the workflow, and drive simplification & automation, provide advice on people & retention strategies for long term business growth across the region
  • Formulate and develop HR budgeting, headcount planning, policies and procedures, employee data and analytics, and ensure employee handbook to be up to date
  • Manage and monitor full spectrum of Human Resources services , including recruitment, manpower planning, C&B scheme review, training & development, staff engagement etc.
  • Participate in any ad hoc projects as required


Profile

  • Degree holder in HR or business-related disciplines
  • Minimum of 10 years of solid HR experience from beauty or related industry
  • Strong understanding of Hong Kong and China employment law
  • Experience overseeing Hong Kong and China, working in e-commerce and cosmetics industry required; experience going through IPO project would be ideal
  • Strong business acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with strategic mindset, capable driving change, working with C-level on strategic planning and setting priorities
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written English and Chinese, ideally very strong spoken Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Frequent travel between Hong Kong and China is expected
