Merchandising Manager (38K-40K) - trading mobile accessories / consumer electronic product (Hunghom)

  • China offices : Guangzhou, Hangzhou & Qingdao
  • We are looking for Merchandising Manager  – with details as follows :
 
The Job :
  • Report to COO
  • Lead Merchandising team of 3 subordinates
  • Manage the full merchandising cycle from product development until shipment delivery. Understand, analyze client’s business – their market position, price bracket, products, merchandising and production culture and their work approach.
  • Take the lead to oversee and develop the team so as to establish relationship with clients and manage their expectation
  • Sustain good relationship with both internal and external parties in order to achieve overall development/production schedule and on-time delivery
  • Identify opportunities for product gaps and margin improvements
  • Negotiate best price point and lead times with vendors
  • Ensures all steps of approval including samples and trims etc. are completed within the critical path to catch the original delivery date.
  • Explore and source new suppliers to cope with the business growth
  • Develop business strategy and sustain ongoing improvement on daily operations or introduce new processes in order to achieve cost efficiency
  • Tertiary education preferably in Engineering or Business related
  • At least 10 years merchandising or technical background on consumer electronic products / mobile accessories or related items for US or EU markets
  • Project management skill
  • Proficient of both written and spoken English, Chinese including Mandarin
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Seasonal travel is expected
  • 5 days work
