Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) is a self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic programmes including Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma of Applied Education, Applied Learning and part-time professional continuing education programmes to meet the diverse learning needs of society.

The appointee is required to (a) take up academic leadership in programmes related to sports and coaching; (b) carry out teaching duties in sub-degree programmes and Diploma of Applied Education programmes; (c) plan and monitor the practical training; and (d) perform any other duties as assigned.

General Requirements
Applicant should have a master’s degree with at least four years’ teaching experience. He/she should commit to teaching excellence, programme management, student advising and promotion activities. A strong network with professional sports and fitness organizations for practicum arrangement is preferrable.  Experience in programme accreditation and quality assurance in tertiary education sector would be an added advantage.

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Appointment
The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years.
