Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer (Moving Image)

Duties:

• Conduct teaching and student supervision of Design programme as assigned by supervisors
• Assist in programme or material development and reviews
• Take charge of academic and students activities related to the discipline and coordinate with the stakeholders where necessary
• Carry out students and academic administration duties, such as preparing reports and documentation, handling projects, attending meetings, etc
• Perform ad-hoc duties as instructed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Holder of bachelor degree or above in the relevant discipline with minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience
• Teaching experience in the related discipline in tertiary education sector is preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge in video production (Pre & Post), programming and production in different formats or genres
• Knowledge in Adobe Suite Software, including Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere and Animate
• Preference will be given to those with strong and professional academic qualifications and experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
